Overview
NASA Lunar Gateway Data Services Web Software Developer. Position with CAC I to provide software skills in the design, development, and testing of NASA’s Lunar Gateway Data Production Environment, including the Gateway Data Model and Gateway Data Services. Lunar Gateway will serve as a multi-purpose outpost orbiting the Moon to support long-term human return and act as a staging point for deep space exploration. This software engineering role involves developing web and database applications for generating flight software data products to configure the data-driven Gateway flight software. The team collaborates with customers to prioritize new features, manage schedules, and support demonstrations. Work location: NASA/JSC, Houston, TX in a dynamic environment focused on human space flight and space exploration initiatives. Responsibilities
Develop Gateway Data Model and Gateway Data Services web and database applications and APIs. Develop new software features based on customer needs. Perform testing to ensure requirements are met. Troubleshoot Gateway Data Services discrepancies. Adhere to JSC standard software process practices. Qualifications
Required: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident to access USG facilities. B.S. in Computer, Software, Aerospace, Electrical, or Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline. Full stack development experience with 1–3 years (more experience valued). Experience developing web applications and web services (database back-end, middleware, front-end). Experience with C#, XML, SQL. Strong communication skills; able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision; team-oriented with a strong work ethic. Ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly. Desired: M.S. in relevant engineering or computer science fields. Experience with Entity Framework Core, .NET Core. Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Experience with SAML, OAuth, CI, GitLab, Git, Jira. Experience in the full life cycle of human-rated flight projects. Compensation and Benefits
The salary range and benefits information are provided; details reflect a broad range based on location, experience, and qualifications. CACI offers comprehensive benefits including healthcare, retirement, education, and time off. Pay Range : The proposed salary range for this position is $90,300 - 189,600 USD.
