Role overview The Senior Enterprise Project Manager will guide and shape the delivery of complex, high-impact projects that span technology and business functions, aligning stakeholders and delivering measurable results. You will collaborate, influence, and lead cross-functional teams to transform ideas into outcomes that support our members and advance the credit union’s mission. To join this dynamic team, we require candidates to be residents of WA, ID, OR, AZ, TX, SC or GA.
If you’re located in Washington state and within a reasonable driving distance from Tukwila, we are requesting that you come into our HQ on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. For those candidates that live outside the commute distance of TFC and in any of our approved remote locations, this role will be remote. Remote or onsite, we are committed to ensuring you are fully engaged and included in our collaborative environment. What You’ll Do Lead Strategic Projects: Own the end-to-end delivery of enterprise-level projects—from initial planning through execution to closure—ensuring alignment with business goals and measurable outcomes. Deliver digital solutions that improve members’ financial well-being; institutionalize enhanced approaches, tools, and processes to accelerate and de-risk product development and delivery. Champion Agile and traditional methods: Apply the right project management methodology (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) to fit each initiative while keeping teams productive. Create Clear Vision & Value: Define business outcomes, scope, and success measures with stakeholders and keep them central throughout delivery. Orchestrate Teams & Resources: Build and manage work plans, schedules, and timelines across complex initiatives while balancing priorities and capacity. Drive Transparent Communication: Maintain project governance, facilitate product committee meetings, and provide timely, clear reporting with standard PM and Agile dashboards. Navigate Risk: Identify roadblocks and dependencies, remove barriers, document decisions and lessons learned. Manage Budgets: Create and track budgets, monitor actuals vs. forecast, review and approve vendor invoices. Engage Vendors: Review contracts and statements of work; lead relationships with external partners to ensure delivery and quality. Mentor Others: Coach associate project managers and team members to grow skills and impact. Continuously Improve Delivery: Contribute to evolving the EPMO with process improvements and a culture of excellence. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or equivalent experience. At least 7 years of experience leading projects or in a PM capacity. Experience managing technology and enterprise-wide projects. Experience leading cross-functional teams with Agile and Waterfall delivery. Experience mentoring and providing feedback. Experience planning, organizing, scheduling, and implementing multiple projects. Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project) and teaching others how to use them. Desired Qualifications: Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, PM, Finance, IS) or related discipline. Professional PM certifications (e.g., PMP); Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP). Analytical thinking, organizational planning, and strategic evaluation skills. Experience in financial services or banking; core banking operations and integrations.
