The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program is a vital component of the Missile Defense System. It provides an operational platform enabling planning, monitoring, and management of networked sensors and weapon systems to achieve global and regional mission goals. C2BMC connects, integrates, and synchronizes autonomous systems to enhance performance and supports ground and flight tests that verify current and future capabilities. The role involves developing and publishing corporate automation plans using cost-effective delivery technologies, performing complex software design activities, providing architectural guidelines for software design, and maintaining knowledge of technologies, planning, design, and analysis methodologies. It also includes defining design and architectural standards for current and future software initiatives. Essential Functions

Design C2BMC AT and DEF software solutions that meet customer requirements Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication, ability to work independently, and adaptability in a dynamic environment Act as a self-starter capable of initiating research and documenting results Understand system software deployment architectures and CI/CD principles Demonstrate leadership in software projects Decompose requirements to support verification and validation testing of software components Generate detailed, repeatable, automated test procedures Extract data to support analysis requirements Create procedures that test functionality Apply Agile and Lean Product Development principles and train others in a DevOps-style environment Experience across all phases of the software development life cycle Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers to develop solutions Understand BMDS concepts and integrate relevant knowledge Lead a team of high-performing individuals across multi-site, multi-discipline contexts Analyze high-level needs and refine them into evolving architectures that result in a fielded product Communicate engineering approaches and findings clearly Write and implement engineering plans within projects Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a team environment Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in STEM (Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field) with 5 years of experience; or a Master’s degree (preferred) in a STEM field with 3 years of relevant experience; or a PhD with 1 year of relevant experience Current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance required to start Current DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (e.g., Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA) Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% to support business needs Ability to document architectures in system modelling tools (e.g., CAMEO, Enterprise Architect) Experience with VMware, Linux, Windows, Git, Ansible, JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Excel & Visio, and other development tools Preferred Qualifications

Additional information: Primary Level Salary Range in Colorado Springs is $100,300 - $158,000; in Huntsville, $105,400 - $158,000.
