Unity Environmental University seeks individuals to consult as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop a new course on the influence of culture, identity, and power on psychological processes and human experience. All courses are delivered asynchronously online in 5-week terms and include an applied project. SMEs will collaborate with the supervising dean and learning experience designer to develop curricula and harness AI to create online courses exploring how race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, ability, and worldview shape cognition, emotion, communication, and behavior. The course emphasizes self-reflection, cultural humility, and inclusive practice in both individual and collective contexts, with applications in design, health, sustainability, and leadership. Candidates with collaboration experience across interdisciplinary settings spanning natural, physical, and social sciences will be favorably reviewed. Qualifications

Do you have the skills? An advanced degree (Master’s minimum) in Psychology, Social Psychology, Cultural Studies, or a closely related field Specific expertise and experience applying cultural and identity frameworks to real-world contexts Familiarity with teaching psychology or social science concepts online. Online teaching and/or distance-learning experience is desirable. Ability to write student-facing instructions with clarity Willingness to embrace the potential of generative AI tools to improve learning and/or workplace performance Ability to efficiently operate a personal computer and common software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the University The Location

The University\'s distance education curriculum is 100% online. Distance Education SMEs and Adjuncts work remotely. Benefits
