The Senior Governance & Control Analyst - Remediation Assurance Testing is responsible for performing assigned tasks related to Remediation Assurance Testing activities throughout the issue remediation lifecycle for Regulator issues and High-Risk findings owned by 1st Line of Defense (1LoD). Tasks include, but are not limited to, design review of corrective actions, executing test plans to assess design effectiveness and operational readiness, and providing summaries of test results to issue owners; tracking and addressing exceptions where applicable. SME level professional role with in-depth knowledge in own domain and working knowledge of related areas Integrates broader organizational context into advice and solutions Understands industry factors and differentiators for the organization Applies best practices to implement process, product or service improvements Leads moderately to complex risk projects or functional programs Contributes to setting standards within area of expertise Solves complex problems requiring analysis of multiple variables and stakeholder input Uses advanced methods to contribute to new solutions and set standards Interprets guidelines and results to inform senior-level decision making Works independently as a SME or lead and guides others Education & Experience

Undergraduate degree preferred Broad and deep knowledge of business and risk and control environment 5+ years of relevant experience Proficient knowledge of governance, risk and control procedures, strategies & tactics Proficient knowledge of current and emerging trends Mentoring/coaching skills Experience with analytical software tools, data analysis methods and reporting Proficiency with MS Office Effective written and oral communication Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships Ability to work independently and as part of a team Sound judgment in decision making Ability to research, organize and prioritize work with multiple deadlines Ability to handle confidential information discreetly Preferred Qualifications
