Base pay range
$210,000.00/yr - $240,000.00/yr Location: New York, NY On-Site Compensation: $210-240K base + bonus We’re representing a globally active private real estate investment platform that is seeking an accomplished Corporate Controller to lead its corporate accounting and reporting function at the management company level. The firm is actively deploying capital globally with over $9B in assets under management. This role sits at the financial core of its operations. Why This Role Lead the full corporate financial controllership function in a lean, high-caliber team Work with colleagues and structures across North America, Europe, and Asia Partner directly with the CFO and firm leadership Be part of a platform that is actively scaling and evolving its operations Responsibilities Manage and oversee third-party administrators handling corporate and special-purpose vehicle accounting Direct the annual financial statement audit for the management company Lead quarterly and annual tax reporting for the management company and its foreign subsidiaries Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and expense management across global affiliates Oversee accounts payable, invoice review, and timely expense reimbursements Manage cash flow, debt covenant monitoring, and capital planning Collaborate with senior leadership on short- and long-term strategic planning Oversee payroll, benefits, and 401(k) compliance in partnership with HR Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and controls Support entity formation, KYC/AML/DD processes, and investor onboarding as needed Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred 7+ years of corporate accounting and reporting experience within private equity, real estate, or investment management Blend of public accounting and in-house experience strongly preferred Solid grasp of GAAP, consolidations, and multi-entity structures Experience managing third-party administrators and external audit/tax relationships Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with multiple priorities Seniority level
