We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Identity Services Engine (ISE) expert. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and enhancing our campus and residential network ISE deployments. The position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to automate IoT device management and Residential User Defined Networking using Cisco Catalyst Center and Cisco ISE. The successful candidate will also be responsible for improving device profiling and access control by integrating ISE with FortiNet Firewalls, and working with security and networking teams to ensure secure connectivity for wired and server connections. The scope of this position includes large-scale campus and residential network ISE deployments, which are critical services requiring high availability and reliability. Responsibilities

Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of secure network access appliances, such as Cisco ISE. Integrate these appliances with other network systems, monitor infrastructure performance, and troubleshoot wireless and wired AAA connectivity issues. Perform regular network maintenance tasks, provide technical support, and manage campus network management software. Manage asset inventory, maintain detailed documentation of network configurations and changes, and generate regular reports on network performance and security incidents. Qualifications

Expert-level experience and knowledge with Cisco ISE Expert knowledge of AAA (RADIUS, TACACS) Working knowledge of 802.1x, wired and wireless networking Experience with Virtual Infrastructure Technology like VMWare Experience with Network Security measures - ACL, TACACS+, Port Security The University of California is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
