A South Bay real estate company is looking for a Tax Manager to bring on to their team. In this role, the Tax Manager will be responsible for coordinating tax activities with their external CPA firm, compliance, filing, and reporting. To be successful in this role, the Tax Manager will need to be hands-on, have great communication skills, and be deadline-driven.
What do you need for this Tax Manager role?
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field 6-12 years of tax experience CPA strongly preferred MUST have real estate tax experience (industry and/or from public accounting) Advanced Excel What will you do in this Tax Manager role?
Work with external tax consultant to prepare tax returns, filings, and maintain compliance Prepare tax work papers Prepare tax projections Respond to notices from various agencies and organizations Review financial statements in relation to tax reporting Develop internal processes, controls, efficiencies around compliance Identify and mitigate tax risks around SOX controls What is in this Tax Manager role for you?
