Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I – Silicon Valley Area Base pay range: $28.00/hr - $33.00/hr Job Description

As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I, your journey begins with obtaining your Securities Industry licenses, receiving dedicated and personalized classes for your Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 and Series 66 Exams. Once licensed, you will learn foundational skills to advise clients — from acquiring, building and managing client relationships to considering a client’s complex financial picture and guiding them with advice and solutions. You will begin working in a financial center to deliver Bank of America’s core banking, investment solutions and client care. We will equip you as you move through the stages of development. Upon successful completion as a licensed Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I, you may progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where you will continue to grow within a portfolio of clients. The Academy provides programs, tools, and resources to support your career journey. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements; you will register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing. Failure to obtain and/or maintain SAFE Act registration may result in termination. Key Programs & Progression

Stage I: obtain SIE, Series 7 and Series 66 (or 63 & 65 in lieu of 66) licenses; complete required study time. Stage II: continue to grow relationships within a client portfolio and advance within Bank of America and Merrill. We’ll help you

Build a successful career at Bank of America through world-class training and onboarding programs. Receive training and one-on-one coaching from Academy managers who are invested in your success. Grow business knowledge by using a defined consultative approach with clients to identify needs and solutions. Earn licenses (SIE, Series 7, Series 66; 63 & 65 accepted in lieu of 66) with required timelines: SIE within 30 days of hire, Series 7 & 66 within 120 days. Build your network by engaging with banking customers, small business owners and higher net worth clients. Provide end-to-end comprehensive advice, client reviews/presentations, and recommendations to help clients achieve goals. Collaborate with core banking and investment partners to meet financial needs. Required Qualifications

Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses. Self-discipline in managing time and capacity. Experience in cultivating client relationships, assessing needs and recommending solutions. Strong ability to build peer relationships through communication and collaboration. Results-driven mindset with client interests in a fast-paced environment. Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology or applications. Desired Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and/or minimum one year of financial services industry or sales experience. Skills
