We are hiring! ACS System Associates, Inc. established in 1983 is a top-rated MBE HVAC commercial contractor serving the Greater New York area (including Westchester, New York City, and Long Island). Our diverse portfolio includes retail, office, industrial, hotel, schools, and hospital projects. We have an internal division with engineers, architects, draftsmen, project managers, and supervisors who collaborate with clients to ensure projects are completed effectively, on time, and within budget. Headquartered in Long Island, NY with additional offices in Westchester County. We are seeking experienced Site Supervisors with HVAC knowledge as we expand. Key Duties & Responsibilities
Managing and maintaining the project schedule from start to finish Collaborating with the Project Manager, General Contractor, other trades, and suppliers to resolve issues in a timely and cost-effective manner Adhering to plans and specifications Reviewing all work for quality and accuracy Coordinating workers to meet the project schedule Reviewing and managing supplier deliveries Maintaining site cleanliness Ensuring all site activities comply with safety regulations and procedures Coordinating subcontractors as needed Hands-on work to keep the project on schedule Reporting and tracking on-site changes and progress Fostering teamwork with all trades to complete the project Must have current SST 62 certification Must use own car Requirements
5 years of superintendent/field manager experience in HVAC or General Contracting Proven track record of completing projects on time and on budget Valid OSHA 30-hour and NYC DOB SST62 certification Proficiency with construction management software Residence within Nassau, Western Suffolk, within 5 Boroughs of NYC, or Westchester Primary Location: United States-New York-Hicksville Other Locations: United States-New York-Westbury; United States-New York-Mount Vernon Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to protected status or any other characteristic protected by law.
