Security Professional - Aero Patrol

Annapolis, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. You will contribute to a positive environment by upholding our values of agility, reliability, and innovation, always acting with integrity and working collaboratively with your team.

Responsibilities
Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the aerospace and defense location. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Observe and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents encountered during patrols. Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site protocols. Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency responders as situations arise.
Minimum Requirements
Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
