BioSpace Overview Under the direction of a Senior Project Engineer, the Co-Op will support capital projects involving design, procurement, commissioning, start-up, validation, and management of equipment and related aspects for prioritized capital projects. The Co-op will work with departmental and cross-functional teams to deliver project goals. Core Responsibilities

Provide project management support for GMP equipment procurement and/or upgrades from initial specification and selection through procurement and qualification. Develop engineering documentation (User Requirements, P&IDs, etc.) to support equipment design; perform engineering calculations to size process lines, equipment, and instrumentation. Support commissioning and validation of project equipment, facilities, and utilities to ensure the system is installed as designed and operates within design parameters. Key Deliverables

Complete capital projects as assigned, including: Creating cost estimates for funding requests Managing project budgets Creating and maintaining project schedules Design, procurement, and validation of equipment/utilities Providing project updates to key stakeholders Support the Engineering team on large capital projects by creating engineering documents (Technical Specifications, P&IDs, PDs, etc.) and supporting FAT activities Add new assets into the Maintenance program Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field Must be enrolled in university for at least one semester following the co-op Expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027 Must be able to commit to a 6-month program at AbbVie Bioresearch Center (ABC) in Worcester, MA (July - December) Additional Information
