Overview The Riskonnect System Administrator ensures optimal performance, security, and user experience of Riskonnect (built on the Salesforce platform). Manage day-to-day administration, collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, and implement solutions that streamline workflows, enhance reporting, and drive user adoption. Responsibilities include providing user support, performing break-fix activities, complex issue resolution, root cause analysis, and supporting projects involving enterprise application integrations.
Responsibilities
Platform Administration & Security: Oversee user lifecycle management, set up/deactivate users, manage profiles, roles, sharing rules, and permissions to enforce data governance; customize and configure Riskonnect objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, and Lightning pages; implement automations using workflows, Flow, Process Builder, and approval processes.
Reporting & Analytics: Design and maintain dashboards and custom reports delivering insights into risk, compliance, and operational metrics; create data extracts and curated reports for business and audit use.
Data Management & Integrity: Perform imports, exports, cleansing, deduplication, validation; conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and system reliability.
Release & Change Management: Manage sandbox environments, change sets, and Riskonnect/Salesforce upgrades and patches through organized release processes.
Support, Training & User Adoption: Provide first-line support, troubleshoot issues, manage tickets, resolve incidents, escalate as needed; develop training materials and lead user workshops to promote best practices.
System Analysis & Continuous Improvement: Assess functionality, data flows, controls, and integrations to identify enhancements; collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to prioritize upgrades.
Documentation & Compliance: Maintain system documentation (config specs, SOPs, process maps, troubleshooting guides) and contribute to audit/compliance documentation as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of Riskonnect/Salesforce platform administration, including custom objects, automations, security model, and UI customizations; strong reporting and data visualization for risk and compliance metrics; familiarity with sandbox management and deployment tools (change sets, sandboxes, release staging).
Certifications: Salesforce Certified Administrator highly preferred; additional certifications (Advanced Admin, App Builder, Riskonnect-specific training) are beneficial.
Support & Troubleshooting: Experience providing Tier 2 support, resolving incidents, and performing root cause analysis in Riskonnect or similar RMIS.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration to bridge IT, risk management, and business users; strong analytical mindset; proactive approach to system improvement; effective time/project management.
Experience & Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Risk Management, Computer Science, or related field; 2–3+ years administering Riskonnect, Salesforce, or other RMIS platforms; exposure to integrations (APIs, data loader) and 3rd-party AppExchange tools preferred.
Work Conditions Hybrid role with most time spent working from home. Attendance at important meetings and events at the local DPR office is required. Occasional domestic travel may be required.
Location & Compensation Dallas, TX. Salary range: $100,000 - $140,000 (range may vary by location and experience).
