Digital Manufacturing Architect role at Capgemini. Location: Atlanta, GA or Cincinnati, OH or Remote. Duration: Full Time. Your Role
The Digital Manufacturing SME is responsible for assessing manufacturing plants for IT/OT maturity and KPIs, identifying pain points, and converting pain points to solutions, enabling design and implementation roadmaps for MES/MOM systems. While not expected to be the technical expert on all products and platforms, the role requires the ability to assess and document assets, manufacturing processes, regulatory and other requirements, and to ensure consistency in approach across design and implementation. Assessing manufacturing plants for IT/OT maturity, KPIs, and pain points Converting pain points to solutions and enabling design and implementation roadmaps for MES/MOM systems Skills and Experience
Understand ISA-95, ISA-88, and MESA principles for manufacturing processes, assets, and integration approaches Conduct assessments at manufacturing facilities and document deliverables such as Process Maps and Asset Frameworks Participate in design reviews, final design specification reviews, and localization of Digital Manufacturing solutions Lead change prioritization, collaborate with the business to understand requirements and project complexity Provide support for non-routine investigations (deviations, complaints) Prepare, review, and support functional documents, change controls, deviation investigations, validation protocols and related records Apply process knowledge and data analysis to support implementation of digital manufacturing solutions Design for custom MES/MOM solutions on cloud-native architectures with IIoT principles Minimum Requirements
+15 years of experience in a techno-functional role in the manufacturing IT landscape BS or MS in Industrial Engineering with Computer Science minor or equivalent, applicable to manufacturing processes Experience with at least 2 Consumer Products industry MES/MOM implementations (COTS or custom) Experience with at least 2 IIoT implementations for CP customers Working knowledge of GE Proficy and Ignition is desired Additional Preferences
Knowledge of product manufacturing including equipment, facilities, computer systems and operations Ability to learn new processes and computer system applications Strong computer, interpersonal, and teamwork skills Strong self-management and organizational skills Effective oral and written communication skills Life at Capgemini
