Overview
Operational Technology (OT) Asset Visibility and Security Engineer and Database Developer (On-site support required at Merrifield, VA). Responsibilities
Technical contributor implementing cybersecurity strategies protecting the digital network, connected assets, hosted applications and data, and employees within the OT environment supporting critical mail and package handling systems. Continue development and curation of a proprietary database system managing asset details of proprietary systems leveraged by automation for identifying assets observed within the environment. Qualifications
Candidates must have strong demonstrated experience in a large enterprise IT environment including 8+ years of OT security experience and application of asset visibility solutions towards OT hardware and software asset management security efforts supporting both OT operations and security efforts including network access control, USB attached device control, vulnerability management, and security event investigation support. Candidates must have accredited and relevant college degree (computer science, information systems, etc) or congruent work experience. Candidates must have documented enterprise-based experience as a Forescout CounterAct administrator, and Forescout Engineering certification. Candidates must have documented experience implementing and maintaining proprietary database instances and leveraging them for automation purposes. Specific technical knowledge, experience, and certifications with relevant tools such as Forescout, Armis Centrix, Splunk use and knowledge object development, Windows and Linux system administration, Database design and implementation. Beneficial certifications include CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC, RHCE, CPTE, or CEH, along with strong oral and written communication skills, ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, ability to build & maintain schedules and step-by-step action plans; strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and the demonstrated ability to positively influence peer organizations and key stakeholders. Experience: Minimum of eight (8) to twelve (12) years of relevant experience; degree from an accredited college/university in the applicable field is required. If the degree is not in the applicable field, four additional years of related experience are required.
