What You Will Do
Lead the COE Data Engineers (offshore) and oversee the design and implementation of technical solutions. Develop ETL data pipelines in the data platform (Azure/Databricks/Snowflake) and maintain technical documentation. Ensure UAT readiness and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align solutions with business strategy. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and data quality issues; seek opportunities for technical data improvement.
Technical Solution Design
Create technical solutions using Python and SQL to meet business requirements. Design system-level architecture with some lower-level feature design. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall business strategy. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and data quality issues. Identify opportunities for technical data improvement.
Data Modeling
Design scalable data models to support analytics, forecasting, and reporting. Apply best practices in dimensional modeling, including Star Schema design. Translate business requirements into optimized logical and physical models. Build semantic layers and curated datasets for tools like Power BI and Snowflake. Document data definitions and relationships to ensure clarity and consistency.
ETL Data Pipeline Development
Ensure the ADF pipelines are efficient, reliable, and scalable. Build processes supporting data transformation, metadata, dependency and workload management using DBT and Airflow or similar tools. Conduct root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer business questions.
Technical Documentation
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all solutions and pipelines. Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders. UAT Readiness Solutions: provide solutions to ensure UAT readiness in Snowflake and Power BI. Collaborate with the QA team to identify and resolve issues during UAT.
Team Leadership And Management
Lead, motivate, and manage the COE Data Engineers (offshore), providing guidance and support. Lead innovation in data science applications for operational efficiency. Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment. Work closely with the VP of Technology to align technical feasibility with business goals.
Data Quality And Governance
Champion data quality and governance practices. Implement data validation processes and ensure compliance with governance policies.
Key Deliverables
End-to-end data pipelines such as rent rolls, effective rent models, and financial forecasting. Develop and document data models for key performance metrics. Collaborate with the COE team to ensure platform scalability and maintainability.
What You Should Have
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in technical solution design, ETL development pipelines using Databricks and Azure Data Factory, and data pipeline management. Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with Snowflake, DBT, and Azure is highly preferred. Familiarity with source code management tools (such as Azure-Devops and Git). Strong knowledge of data governance and quality standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Compensation and Benefits: Base compensation range is
$160,000.00 to $170,000.00
annually, with discretionary bonus and incentive compensation. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, paid holidays and PTO. Terms vary by plan and location.
