MUST

be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card) and be able to complete/pass/maintain a public trust background investigation. Preference given to candidates local to the DMV (DC/MD/VA) metro area with ET time zone work schedule. Daily Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and integrate out-of-box and custom Salesforce applications through the SDLC using modern web technologies. Support the design of custom objects, custom fields, picklists, page layouts, workflow, approval processes, validation rules, custom tabs, reports, Visualforce pages, dashboards, and email generation according to application requirements. Integrate Salesforce system with internal and external systems using Web and Salesforce/Force.com API technologies (SOAP, REST), MuleSoft Middleware, and integration between Salesforce and MuleSoft. Write Apex batch and scheduled classes for processing large data sets at scheduled intervals. Conduct release management activities using source control and deployment tools such as ANT, GitHub, DevOps CI/CD Pipelines. Validate application code against unit tests, security tests, and profiling tools. Assist in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving defects. Translate functional requirements into technical specifications. Requirements: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, as mandated by our government client. Must be able to pass and maintain a public trust investigation. Preference for candidates local to the DC/MD/VA metro area, though remote is acceptable. 9+ years of overall software development experience. 7+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce design, development, and integration of applications through the SDLC. Strong understanding of Salesforce products including Service, Community Cloud, and App Cloud. Ability to advise on custom solutions to meet client requirements. Development experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Force.com, and mobile app approaches. Experience designing picklists, page layouts, workflows, approval processes, reports, Visualforce pages, triggers, dashboards, and email generation. Experience with environment migration using DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with scripted data loaders, web services, middleware, and enterprise integration technologies. Strong interpersonal, written, presentation, and customer service skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or related field. Certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder or Service Cloud Consultant are a plus. The annual salary range is $118,900 - $179,900.
