Job Description: We are seeking a

Principal Salesforce Engineer

with deep expertise in Salesforce architecture, development, and integration. This role will design, build, and optimize Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Force.com while mentoring peers and leading highly complex initiatives. The engineer will work across teams to align Salesforce technology solutions with business strategies and ensure scalable, high-performing platforms.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Architect Salesforce.com solutions from the ground up.

Lead design and coding sessions; develop, test, and deploy high-quality business solutions.

Oversee Salesforce application design, resolving technical and design conflicts.

Implement and optimize Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Force.com, Chatter, and AppExchange apps.

Develop in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and SOQL.

Build Lightning applications, including Aura framework and JavaScript server-side components.

Integrate Salesforce with other enterprise systems (REST, SOAP, MuleSoft, WebMethods, etc.).

Mentor and coach less-experienced engineers, providing technical leadership.

Maintain coding standards, perform code reviews, and support enterprise software methodologies.

Requirements:

Must-Haves: Experience architecting Salesforce solutions from the ground up, including design, development, testing, documentation, and deployment.

Expertise with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Force.com , Chatter, and AppExchange applications.

Proficiency in Salesforce core languages and tools: Apex (triggers, classes, web services), Visualforce (pages/components), Lightning components, and SOQL.

Hands-on experience with Lightning development (design, components, Aura Framework, JavaScript, server-side components).

Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications using real-time, batch, and sync/async methods.

Familiarity with integration technologies including SOAP/REST APIs and middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft, WebMethods, or similar).

Experience leading design/coding sessions, resolving technical conflicts, and mentoring peers or team members.

Strong understanding of Salesforce workflows, process builder, flows, templates, and custom coding.

Nice-to-Haves: Experience with JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, etc.).

Hands-on with Visual Studio Code IDE, GitHub, Jira.

Agile/Scrum methodology experience.

Experience with Lightning App Builder and Salesforce Communities.

Web application development background.
