Overview
The Manager, FP&A is an integral member of the Universal Products & Experiences (UP&E) Financial, Planning & Analysis team. They lead budgeting and forecasting for Global Cash Flow, Headquarters’ central services, and Compensation. This role reports to the Director of Global Financial, Planning & Analysis. You will collaborate with financial analysts, planners, and other key stakeholders to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data, contribute to team meetings, and support strategic decision-making. The candidate should be detail-oriented, able to balance priorities, and deliver timely and accurate results with minimum supervision. Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, and analysis, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills, are required.
Responsibilities
Own budgeting and forecasting for key areas: Cash Flow across Global Consumer Products and Gaming & Digital portfolio (receipts and disbursements); collaborate with Global Finance, Controllership & Business Operations on inputs and insights.
Overhead/cost of sales management for central services (Legal & Business Affairs, HR, Communications, IT, Finance & Franchise).
Global Headcount and Compensation/benefits budgeting and forecasting.
Process improvement: identify and implement processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting, budgeting and analysis.
Teamwork & collaboration: build strong relationships within Global Finance, Controllership & Business Operations and other teams to achieve objectives.
Support Senior Leadership on Annual Budgets, Monthly/Quarterly Operating Forecasts and Long-Range Strategic planning.
Perform and facilitate financial validation on revenues and costs; identify risks and opportunities; analyze variances and recommend corrective actions.
Partner with Controllership for quarter close and year-end procedures.
Refine forecasting methodologies with data-driven analytics; expand use of automation and data visualization.
Qualifications
Career Level: Experienced
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a finance function (Consumer Products / Retail / Parks environment or Global Media & Entertainment industry a plus).
Solid accounting/finance background; advanced Excel skills (PowerPivot/Data Modeling) and PowerPoint storytelling.
Experience with financial systems (e.g., SAP).
Qualified accounting/finance credentials (CPA/MBA) a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment; strong attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and solve problems with initiative.
Additional Information
Travel may be required; hybrid work arrangement.
