Fund Accountant / Operations

Experienced Advisory Consultants LLC (EAC) is a premier outsource solution provider specializing in Hedge Fund Pre-Launch Consulting, Finance & Accounting, Operations, and Treasury Services. With a team of seasoned investment advisory professionals, EAC serves clients across all business life cycles, from pre-launch to large, established funds. The Fund Accountant will be responsible for preparing accurate financial statements, conducting fund accounting, generating financial reports, and calculating Net Asset Value (NAV). Daily tasks also include managing finance-related activities and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The Operations role will be responsible for performing daily reconciliations, margin and cash management, break resolution, maintenance of internal and external order management systems, along with other daily operational responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Perform monthly balance sheet and income statement reconciliations while working with the Operations department Book monthly expense accruals Maintain monthly capital allocation files Review monthly investor statements Coordinate the payment of client expenses each month Calculate and manage the payment of management fees Respond to ad hoc client requests Calculate and coordinate capital activity including capital calls, distributions, and subsequent close equalizations for closed-end funds Assist with annual financial statement audits Qualifications - Fund Accountant Proficiency in Fund Accounting and calculating NAV Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Experience with preparing Financial Statements a plus Responsibilities - Operations Daily reconciliation of trades, cash, and positions Coordination with executing brokers and custodians on street break resolution Listed and OTC trade settlements Trade support including trade capture Confirm and monitor the cash flow activity of private transactions with external counterparties Assist in the settlement of syndicated bank debt including monthly/quarterly agent notices Portfolio pricing and P&L verification at month-end Overall maintenance of internal OMS Assist with onboarding OMS Ad hoc client requests Qualifications - Operations Proficiency in Microsoft excel Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Experience with Order Management Systems a plus EEO Statement: Experienced Advisory Consultants LLC is an equal opportunities employer.
