Financial Reporting Manager

St. Vincent’s Health System . Overview The Financial Reporting Manager oversees the preparation, accuracy, and integrity of financial reporting packages. This role is responsible for complex financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of key performance metrics to drive operational and financial excellence. The position requires compiling and analyzing data from financial systems to address specific questions, concerns, and requests. Responsibilities
Manage reporting requirements for external stakeholders, including auditors, lenders, and regulatory bodies. Prepare and timely deliver all financial reporting packages (annually, quarterly, monthly) for senior leadership. Ensure data integrity and consistency across financial and operational reporting systems. Prepare and review footnotes, disclosures, and supporting schedules for financial reports. Produce monthly and quarterly statistical data in support of month-end close and compliance reporting. Present complex financial concepts in a clear, concise manner to non-financial stakeholders. Participate in preparation, consolidation, and analysis of the annual operating budget. Monitor financial performance, contribute to organization-wide performance improvement activities, and maintain reasonable financial plans and forecasts. Conduct and document complex financial analyses and interpret data requests for analysis. Compile and analyze data from financial and budgeting systems. Partner with operational and clinical leaders to develop financial pro formas for physician practice expansion, new service lines, and capital investments. Develop methodologies to prepare reports addressing questions and requests from senior leadership. Contribute to continuous improvement within the finance team and coordinate for major projects and system initiatives. Coordinate special reporting as needed and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
CPA professional designation highly preferred. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field required. Five (5) years of progressive financial analysis experience required, with at least two (2) years in healthcare preferred. Two (2) years of leadership experience preferred. Strong background in financial modeling, forecasting, and performance analysis. Experience with healthcare financial systems, reimbursement models, and payer contracts strongly desired. Healthcare experience strongly preferred. Location and Details
