Position Purpose:
As a Customer Service Cashier, you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer experience. Your responsibilities include providing fast, friendly, accurate, and safe service to all customers. You will handle Checkout and Return transactions, while also overseeing and maintaining the Self-Checkout area.
We are looking for proactive individuals who seek knowledge about products and services to assist customers effectively and identify additional selling opportunities. Following all policies and procedures is essential for minimizing shrinkage.
If you are promoted to Head Cashier, your additional responsibilities will include:
Positioning Cashiers effectively and supporting them by expediting price checks.
Approving Point of Sale transactions and markdowns for mainline registers, Self-Checkout, Returns, Pro Desk, Special Services, and Tool Rental.
Providing first-level escalation support for customer issues.
Assisting in the supervision, coaching, and training of other Front End Associates.
Participating in training new Cashiers and utilizing available tools to coach and develop Cashiers.
The ideal candidate for a Head Cashier position will have at least 1 year of experience as a Cashier.
