Position Purpose:
As a Customer Service Cashier, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our customers. Your key responsibilities will include delivering fast, friendly, accurate, and safe service at the checkout and return stations. You will also oversee and maintain the Self-Checkout area, ensuring a smooth shopping experience.
You will proactively seek product knowledge, enabling you to offer valuable information to customers and identify sales opportunities. Adhering to all company policies and procedures, you will contribute to minimizing shrinkage.
In the role of Head Cashier, you will support your team by expediting price checks, approving Point of Sale transactions, and managing markdowns at mainline registers, the Self-Checkout, Returns, Pro Desk, Special Services, and Tool Rental. You will assist in resolving customer issues at the first level and play a critical role in coaching and training fellow Front End Associates, including participating in the onboarding process for new Cashiers.
Qualifications:
1+ years of experience as a Cashier preferred for Head Cashier applicants.
