The Senior Cost Accountant will play a crucial role in managing and analyzing the cost structure of the manufacturing operations. This position involves detailed cost analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting to ensure efficiency and profitability. The Senior Accountant will work closely with production, inventory, and finance teams to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making. Salary:

The salary range for this position is $130,000 to $145,000, depending on experience. Location:

This role is onsite based in Kent, WA. Primary Responsibilities

Plan, study, and collect data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory and labor. Analyze data collected and record results. Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine effects on cost. Analyze actual manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs. Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements. Record cost information for use in controlling expenditures. Analyze audits of costs and prepare reports. Create estimates of new and proposed product costs. Provide management team with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services. Maintain Cost Accounting System. Calculate key figures such as labor burden rates, overhead burden rates, and labor efficiency rates. Assist in month end close of the General Ledger. Conduct physical inventories and monitor cycle count program. Reconcile finished goods inventories. Required to have a strong comfort-level communicating throughout all levels of the organization. Understand, support and execute all work according to the established procedures of the organization. Project based assignments as requested. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Minimum of 4 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or 3 years experience with a Master’s degree; or equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a plus. Excellent computer skills, Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PPT, Access/SQL, etc.); NetSuite experience preferred. Experience leveraging technology to achieve complex consolidations. Strong hands-on experience in complex financial modeling, problem solving, analysis and planning. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail; ability to analyze the overall business impact. Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail. Proven ability to multi-task, set project priorities, goals and objectives. Ability to communicate with co-workers, customers, and vendors effectively and professionally. Physical Requirements
