Overview
FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS (FP&A) MANAGER — Direct Hire role for our client in Houston, TX. Workplace Type: On-Site. Base pay range
$120,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial planning in collaboration with operations, supply chain, and engineering. Develop and maintain cash flow models, revenue recognition processes, and scenario planning. Align capital investment plans with demand forecasts and production capabilities. Prepare financial performance, KPI, and cash flow reports for the CFO, private equity partners, and lenders. Ensure compliance with lender covenants and deliver accurate, timely reporting. Support ERP system selection, implementation, and ongoing functionality improvements. Drive automation and enhance data visibility for better decision-making. Implement job costing models and analyze inventory trends for optimization. Partner with operations to identify cost drivers and margin improvement opportunities. Provide financial analysis for strategic initiatives, capital investments, acquisitions, and market expansion. Support lender and investor due diligence efforts and coordinate with PwC on audits. Education & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CPA/CFA preferred). 2+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance, ideally in manufacturing or industrial equipment. Experience in PE-backed or high-growth environments. Familiarity with ERP/system implementation. Strong knowledge of job costing and inventory management in manufacturing. Proficiency in advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and BI tools. Expertise in cash flow forecasting, accrual accounting, and financial controls. Strategic thinker with strong execution skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration abilities. Seniority level
