is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented
Bookkeeper
to manage day-to-day financial functions and provide administrative accounting support to an executive team member. This is a critical role that ensures the financial accuracy and integrity of our firm and an Executive's books, as we serve clients with excellence and compassion. Responsibilities
Manage daily accounting transactions including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), bank reconciliations, and expense tracking Maintain general ledger and ensure timely and accurate journal entries Reconcile trust accounts and ensure compliance with legal trust accounting requirements Reconcile personal and company receipts and transactions Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting as needed Assist in preparing financial documents for tax filings and audits Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures Work closely with the CEO to support budgeting and forecasting tasks Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments and vendor invoices Help streamline and improve workflows and documentation processes Qualifications
4+ years of bookkeeping or general accounting experience, preferably in a professional services or legal environment Excellent proficiency in
QuickBooks ,
Microsoft
and
Microsoft Excel
specifically Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in data entry Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of trust accounting (a plus, but not required) Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Proactive mindset with critical thinking and problem solving skills Benefits
