We are a competitive and fast growing accounting firm seeking a Staff Accountant CPA with a minimum of 3-4 years experience. Job Responsibilities: Record financial transactions and complete the posting process. Works with 20-40 clients/ month. Reconcile sales taxes, payroll taxes, 401k, and bank accounts at the end of each month. Monitor financial transactions and reports. Adjusting Journal Entries Complete Financial Statements and Balance Sheet for 20-40 clients/month. Process accounts receivable and payable. Process vendor, payroll and other ad hoc checks. Understand general and subsidiary ledgers. Work with a team of accountants and business professionals when necessary. Handle monthly payroll using accounting software. Maintain and record a complete and systematic set of business transactions. Reports to the accounting manager and provides all reports for review. Inform clients of important paperwork and documentation needed to complete monthly bookkeeping needs. Ability to close the books for the end of the month/quarter/annual Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance from an accredited 4-year University required. VALID CPA License Professional demeanor in handling various stakeholders (clients, vendors, fellow employees, and other outside parties) Minimum 3-4 years of accounting experience, preferably within a business-services environment. Able to prepare, review and understand financial statements, balance sheet, and income statements. Knowledge of QuickBooks and Quickbooks Online accounting software. Professional experience working with confidential and sensitive information. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Attention to detail and accuracy of work. Experience managing business paperwork and accounting for a large company.
