Provides acute face-to-face crisis support to individuals experiencing Mental Health (MH), Substance Abuse (SA), or Intellectual/Developmental Disability (IDD) crisis. Mobile Crisis Responders go where the individual is located in crisis, including residential, school, workplace and community settings. These interventions are strength-based and focused on promoting recovery, symptom reduction, increased coping skills, and achievement of the highest level of functioning in the community. Pay rate:
$22 - $24/hour Requirements:
Minimum of one year’s experience in providing crisis management services in settings such as: assertive outreach, assertive community treatment, emergency department or other 24/7 response services in emergent or urgent situations. Full Time 40 hours per week. Mobile Crisis Management services are available 24/7/365. Job Responsibilities
Provide acute face-to-face crisis response within the Mobile Crisis Management catchment area. Facilitate relationships and serve as a link between the company, parents/guardians, local agencies and the community. Minimize the negative effects of psychiatric symptoms or substance dependence, providing supportive counseling. Support the client in developing skill building activities such as daily living, socialization, adaptation, and behavior management. Participate in a first responder on-call system available to consumers and natural supports 24/7/365; coordinate first response resources as needed. Perform Case Management tasks including linking and arranging for services and referrals. Collaborate with clinical staff to maintain communication and expedite linkage to long-term services. Ensure that all initial and reauthorizations for services occur in a timely fashion. Monitor service utilization and provide recommendations and referrals as needed. Position Requirements
Compassionate and caring behavioral health specialists to partner with a community-based service provider. Dedicated Behavioral Health Specialists (Qualified Professionals) to join Mobile Crisis Management team providing crisis intervention in residential, school, workplace and community settings. Emphasis on strength-based interventions to promote recovery and highest functioning in the community. Minimum of one year’s crisis management experience in relevant settings. Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation. Commitment to making a difference in the lives of the people served. Candidates for the Behavioral Health Specialist role are considered “Qualified Professionals" based on the following criteria: Education, Licensing and Experience requirements are described below. Education and Licenses
Bachelor Degree (Not Human Services field) with 4+ years full-time experience with the population served OR Bachelor Degree (in Human Services field) with 2+ years full-time experience with the population served OR Master’s Degree or Higher with 1+ years full-time experience with the population served. License, Provisional License, Certificate, Registration or Permit issued by governing board regulating human service profession. Definitions
Human Service Degrees Include: Social Service, Sociology, Psychology, or other Human Service Degrees. Populations Served Include: Mentally Ill-Child, Mentally Ill-Adult, Substance Abuse-Adult, Substance Abuse-Child. Pre-employment screening
