We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in monthly financial reporting, in-depth analysis, and cost accounting for our customized manufacturing business.
Job Title: Financial Analyst
Responsibilities
Prepare monthly financial reports and conduct in-depth analysis. Oversee production site controlling. Perform cost accounting for a customized manufacturing business. Reconcile Balance Sheet (B/S) and Profit & Loss (P/L) accounts and track costs. Assist the accounting team with audits. Develop and maintain relationships with management and functional area leaders. Analyze monthly inventory devaluation based on ERP consumption and loss-free valuations. Support R&D business partners with internal order development, tracking, and performance management. Contribute to the annual financial budget and quarterly sales forecasting process. Conduct in-depth analysis to identify variances to budget and past performance, providing detailed commentary and recommendations to management. Communicate clearly with internal business partners through presentations, video conferencing, phone calls, and emails. Maintain and optimize financial/sales reporting within Tableau, Business Warehouse, Business Objects, and Excel. Perform ad hoc assignments as needed. Essential Skills
Experience in financial analysis and reporting. Proficiency in budgeting and month-end processes. Audit responsibility experience. SAP experience. Cost accounting expertise, including cost recognition and variance analysis. Strong variance analysis skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficient in Excel. Ability to develop strong business partner relationships. Work Environment: The role requires working fully in the office initially, with the possibility of transitioning to a hybrid work model after training. Training will be provided by the current team member. Job Type & Location: This is a Permanent position based out of Bohemia, New York. Pay And Benefits: The pay range for this position is $80,000.00 - $85,000.00/yr. Company offers full medical, dental, and vision benefits.
