Our Assurance practice is growing, and we are looking for a Senior to join the team. As a Senior, you will: Conduct all phases of attest engagements in accordance with Windham Brannon methodology, including planning, risk assessment, research, reporting of findings, and other procedures as required Prepare workpapers to document scope and findings of the engagement in accordance with AICPA standards Complete assignments, tasks, and project components in a timely, accurate, and budget-conscious manner Perform technical research and develop and present own conclusions to present to supervisors Timely review workpapers prepared by associates and interns, providing appropriate on-the-job training and coaching Draft financial statements and related disclosures in accordance with GAAP Effectively supervise, train, and mentor associates and interns on engagements Provide timely status updates of engagement to the manager and partner Manage day-to-day client relations and develop an effective working relationship with the client Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need: 3+ years of audit experience required Advanced knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, financial statements disclosures, and generally accepted auditing standards required Experience working with clients in a variety of industries, including but not limited to manufacturing, construction, hospitality, professional services, NFP, real estate, employee benefit plans, etc. CPA successfully achieved or in progress Excellent project management and organizational skills Strong problem-solving and communication skills Client service oriented Windham Brannon is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates.
