This is a unique chance to step into a critical role on a contract basis and support a dynamic accounting team during a key period. You'll play a hands-on role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and operational excellence while gaining broad exposure across the business. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys taking ownership of complex tasks, and is eager to contribute immediately. What You'll Actually Do
Prepare monthly close activities for multiple entities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis Analyze trial balances, investigate irregularities, and report on variances Assist in month-end and year-end consolidations, including intercompany transactions Manage bank reconciliations and support accurate day-to-day accounting operations Partner with auditors to ensure a smooth and timely year-end audit Assist in developing and implementing new accounting policies and procedures Manage and analyze fixed asset transactions, along with accruals, prepaids, and revenue recognition, to deliver insights to management To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA a plus 3+ years of progressive accounting experience Cash/Cash flow accounting experience is needed Experience with intercompany transactions and audit experience needed SAP or larger ERP or Flocast experience Advanced Excel Strong communication and ability to work independently Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Where and How Much
Target Compensation $50-$55/hour Remote - Denver-Boulder based for occasional onsite trainings and meetings 6-7 month contract / 40 hours a week Seniority level
