The Finance team seeks a Plant Controller for the Shelbyville, TN office. This role reports to the Finance CFO and leads comprehensive financial responsibility across plant operations, including budgeting, planning, and production-related cost analysis (purchasing and sales). The Senior Manager, Controlling, will align financial objectives with production imperatives and drive operational efficiency and plant profitability. Responsibilities

Provide financial leadership across plant functions, ensuring alignment of sales, purchasing, cash flow, and new projects with corporate goals and division reporting structures. Direct team members and coordinate with shared services to maintain coherent financial activities for plant operations. Track KPIs and budget targets in collaboration with plant management and use insights to optimize operations. Analyze operations and recommend continuous improvement initiatives. Lead financial planning and analysis processes (MTP, annual budgeting, forecasting) in partnership with the Plant Manager. Review expenditures, support variance analysis, and provide commentary on financial drivers. Perform production variance analysis (materials, labor), drive root-cause investigations, and track scrap data for process improvements. Ensure correct expense coding and monitor expenditure across key categories to reduce costs. Apply accounting skills to manage bookings (e.g., depreciation, warranty provisions) and contribute to expense reduction. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly packages, re-forecasts, and five-year plans with KPI reporting. Coordinate with local ledgers and reporting systems to align activities with corporate policies and support year-end audits. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. 8+ years of substantial experience in a Financial Controlling role or similar, with a track record of delivering significant financial results. Fluency in English with the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels. Skills and Knowledge

Proficient in SAP with strong understanding of financial systems and processes. Advanced data management and analysis skills; proficient in Excel (pivot tables, VBA) and PowerPoint. Decision-making ability with experience in business case preparation and strategic coordination. Strong teamwork orientation and curiosity to maximize cross-functional synergies. Other Qualifications

Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (preferred). International finance experience (preferred). Bilingual (English and Spanish) (preferred). Lean Manufacturing certification (preferred). Experience with external auditors and internal controls frameworks; familiarity with internal audit activities. Proficiency with One Stream and other BI tools. Expectations
