We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical
Portfolio Management Analyst
to join our Commercial Lending team. This individual will play a key role in managing the health of an active loan portfolio, supporting credit underwriting, and contributing to informed lending decisions. The role is well-suited for professionals with strong financial analysis skills, a background in credit risk, and an interest in growing their career within commercial banking. Base pay range
$90,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr Key Responsibilities
Monitor the financial condition and operating performance of assigned borrowers to proactively identify risks and ensure portfolio health. Perform ongoing
credit risk analysis
by reviewing financial statements, cash flow, collateral coverage, and industry conditions. Complete annual and periodic reviews for existing borrowers, including risk rating assessments and covenant compliance checks. Underwrite new and renewal credit facilities, preparing detailed
credit memos
with recommendations for loan structure, collateral, and terms. Participate in loan decision-making by providing well-supported analysis and recommendations to senior credit officers and lending committees. Serve as a day-to-day contact for relationship managers and borrowers, assisting with inquiries, reporting requirements, and compliance requests. Track and monitor borrower reporting deliverables, covenant performance, and borrowing base compliance as applicable. Support special projects, portfolio reporting, and regulatory/audit requirements as needed. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. 1–3 years of experience in commercial credit analysis, portfolio management, or underwriting within a bank or financial institution. Strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow analysis, and risk assessment. Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; exposure to loan/credit systems preferred. Seniority level
