SEC Reporting Director
We are seeking an experienced SEC Reporting Director to join a Westside entertainment company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for technical memos, owning financial reporting, and preparing SEC filings such as 10K, 10Q, 8K, MD&A, and footnotes. The role requires a hands-on approach, excellent communication skills, and integrity. Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field 15+ years of accounting experience with SEC reporting and filing expertise CPA certification is mandatory Public accounting background preferred Industry experience is a plus but not required Key Responsibilities
Lead the preparation, review, and submission of SEC filings including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K Ensure compliance with SEC regulations, GAAP, and SOX requirements Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Investor Relations teams to ensure accurate disclosures Provide guidance on technical accounting issues and new pronouncements Manage quarterly and annual financial statement processes and footnotes Stay updated on SEC regulation changes and communicate impacts Work with external auditors during reviews and audits Develop and maintain internal controls over financial reporting Assist in preparing earnings releases and investor presentations Maintain high standards of financial transparency and compliance Lead and mentor the SEC reporting team If you meet these requirements and are ready to take the next step in your career, please submit your resume.
