) Job Description: IT Administrator Four Seasons Environmental, Inc. is a small business with nearly 400 employees, providing a variety of O&M services to the federal government. We are seeking an IT Administrator who will support, maintain, and grow our technology environment. This individual will work closely with our current IT Manager to share responsibilities and learn the full scope of our IT operations. In addition to supporting IT needs, this person will also help spearhead AI-driven initiatives to modernize and optimize business operations and eventually be positioned to take on a larger leadership role. Responsibilities Support and maintain a hybrid IT environment serving 100+ Windows users, Windows/Linux servers on VMware ESXi, on-prem web and application servers, and a mix of NAS and cloud storage. Core technologies include Meraki, Unifi, Microsoft, Cisco, Veeam, Adobe, Box, and Zoom. User & Hardware Support Install, provision, and configure servers, desktops, laptops, software, and mobile devices. Provide first- and second-line user support across Windows, macOS, and networked devices. Administer hardware lifecycle management: imaging, repairs, and replacements.

Software & Licensing Provision and manage user access to apps (Microsoft, Adobe, Cisco, Box, Zoom, etc.) Track and manage software subscriptions and license compliance.

Identity & Access Management (IAM) Create and maintain user accounts, passwords, and access rights. Ensure proper onboarding/offboarding workflows for employees.

Network Administration Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot corporate network infrastructure. Support VOIP systems and related telecommunications hardware. Administer backup, replication, and disaster recovery systems. Support a hybrid Windows/Linux server environment in VMware ESXi.

Cybersecurity (in coordination with MSP) Coordinate with MSP on endpoint monitoring, threat detection, and incident response. Support companywide adherence to cybersecurity best practices.

Documentation & Process Improvement Document configurations and update IT policies. Assist in maintaining compliance with federal cybersecurity requirements, including CMMC and NIST 800-171, by following best practices for access control, data protection, and system monitoring.

Innovation & AI Initiatives Explore, evaluate, and implement AI tools that improve operational efficiency (e.g., workflow automation, document management, predictive maintenance). Serve as an internal resource for training staff on the safe and effective use of AI solutions. Champion new technologies that can enhance both productivity and security.

Qualifications

3-5 years of IT support or systems administration experience preferred. Strong working knowledge of Windows desktop OS (all versions), Windows Server, and Linux. Experience with VMware, Active Directory, networking, and backup/replication solutions. Familiarity with Box, Zoom, Microsoft 365, Adobe, Meraki, and Veeam. Skilled troubleshooting, problem-solving, and supporting other employees. Awareness of federal cybersecurity frameworks such as CMMC 2.0 and NIST 800-171; willingness to learn, integrate, and maintain compliance with evolving standards. Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+/Network+) preferred. Strong interpersonal skills; able to explain technical concepts clearly and understandably; demonstrate patience, empathy, and approachability when assisting users with varying levels of technical comfort. Proactive mindset with the ability to build trust and take a personal approach to supporting colleagues. Must be on site at our Monroe, Ohio location.
