Systems Engineer/Principal Systems Engineer

to join its team in Roy, UT; Bellevue, NE; Huntsville, CO Springs, CO supporting the Sentinel Program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following, but not limited to: Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), development of requirements and multiple system engineering models Performing customer requirements elicitation leading to Requirements Development Coordination & collaboration with the System Engineering and Command & Launch Segment System Engineering Teams Supporting system, segment, element and unit level trade studies Definition of high-level functional and performance requirements and verification methods, subsequent analysis, decomposition, and derivation of requirements, allocation of those lower-level requirements to physical and functional architectural elements, and tracking them through design, verification, integration, and operational validation Supporting a team of engineers to create, mature and present comprehensive and cohesive technical charts representative of maturation for milestone meetings Identifying required contractual deliverables and non-contractual documentation and driving corresponding updates to closure Coordinating and collaborating with diverse engineering design teams to manage the technical baseline Basic Qualifications

Systems Engineer (level 2): Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of experience. Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope ( Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need. 6 months of systems engineering experience with a demonstrated understanding of systems engineering principles and processes. Principal Systems Engineer (level 3): Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, software engineering discipline or other STEM field of study or a master’s degree in these areas with 5 years of related experience; master’s degree with 3 years; PhD with 1 year. Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope ( Must have the ability to obtain and maintain SAP approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need. 1 year of systems engineering experience with a demonstrated understanding of systems engineering principles and processes. Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated communication skills and flexibility Proficiency in MS Office A current DoD Top Secret clearance with capability for SAP access Effective communication and presentation to project and program management, other technical managers and customers Direct experience using the DOORS Requirements Management Database and CAMEO Familiarity with Model-Driven Systems Engineering languages (SysML/UML) and CORE knowledge a plus Excellent technical writing and team-building skills Subcontractor technical oversight experience Position Benefits

Final offers consider scope, responsibilities, candidate experience, and market conditions. Overtime, shift differential and a discretionary bonus may apply where applicable.
