Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer (T02) or Principal Systems Engineer (T03) for the Sentinel program. Position locations: Roy, UT; Huntsville, AL; Colorado Springs, CO; or Bellevue, NE. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. What You’ll Get To Do

Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE); develop requirements and multiple system engineering models Perform customer requirements elicitation leading to Requirements Development Coordinate and collaborate with the System Engineering and Command & Launch Segment System Engineering Teams Support system, segment, element and unit level trade studies Define high-level functional and performance requirements and verification methods; decompose and derive requirements; allocate to architectural elements; track through design, verification, integration, and operational validation Support a team of engineers to create, mature and present comprehensive technical charts for milestone meetings and to demonstrate team readiness against milestone entrance and exit criteria Identify required contractual deliverables and non-contractual documentation; drive updates to closure Coordinate with diverse engineering design teams to manage the technical baseline Basic Qualifications

This requisition may be filled at either the Systems Engineer (T-02) or Principal Systems Engineer (T-03) level. Systems Engineer (T-02)

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of experience (0 years with a Master’s) Principal Systems Engineer (T-03)

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of related experience; 3 years with a Master’s degree; 1 year with a PhD Required for Both Levels

Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with ability to obtain and maintain SAP approval within a reasonable period Understanding of systems engineering principles and processes Demonstrated communication skills and flexibility Proficiency in MS Office Preferred Qualifications

Current DoD Top Secret clearance with SAP access capability Ability to communicate and present to project/program management, other technical managers and customers Experience using DOORS Requirements Management Database and CAMEO Familiarity with Model-Driven Systems Engineering languages (SysML/UML) and CORE knowledge Excellent technical writing and team-building skills Subcontractor technical oversight experience Position Benefits

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. Salary ranges: Primary Level $77,200.00 - $115,800.00; Secondary Level $95,300.00 - $142,900.00. The ranges are general guidelines and reflect factors such as scope, responsibilities, candidate experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Depending on the position, overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses may be available in addition to base pay. Some roles offer Long Term Incentives.
