Base pay range
$84,000.00/yr - $104,000.00/yr Overview
The Project Accountant is a critical role in our organization as it is responsible for managing and analyzing all project-related financials. The Project Accountant must have an extensive understanding of project accounting, job costing, invoice/collection, and reconciliation processes. This position requires high attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze actual costs against budgeted costs to identify and explain variances Manage and reconcile job costing information Manage invoicing/collections to ensure accuracy and timely payments Implement internal control procedures to ensure adherence to company policies Provide accounting support for specific projects and tasks as assigned Review and approve accounts payable invoices Compile and report monthly financials for management review
Qualifications
A bachelors degree in accounting or finance A minimum of 5 years of experience in project accounting and job costing Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel Prior experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment
