Caribou Medical Center is seeking an experienced Director, Revenue Cycle to lead our patient accounting and admitting functions. This is a vital leadership role reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and overseeing revenue cycle operations, patient access, and financial services with a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance, process improvement, and customer service.

What You’ll Do As the Director, Revenue Cycle, you will guide a dedicated team responsible for all aspects of patient billing, admitting, collections, cash management, claims processing, and patient financial counseling. You'll also play a key role in collaborating across departments to drive financial performance and support exceptional patient experiences. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic oversight of all PFS functions including charge master management, third-party payer processes, charity care, and managed care contract review Ensure compliance with Medicare regulations and hospital policies Conduct accounts receivable analysis and quality assurance reporting Collaborate with financial counselors to support patient financial needs Manage PFS departmental budget, productivity, and forecasting Lead staff recruitment, development, evaluations, and retention efforts Serve as a liaison between the finance team, clinical departments, and external partners Identify and implement performance improvement opportunities aligned with hospital goals What We’re Looking For Required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field Required: Minimum of 3 years in healthcare financial management or revenue cycle leadership Required: Proven experience leading teams in a healthcare environment Strong analytical skills and working knowledge of healthcare billing, payer contracts, and compliance Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills Experience with financial services software and EMR systems is a plus

Work Environment This position operates in a hospital setting with regular interaction across departments. While primarily office-based, occasional visits to clinical and patient-facing areas are required. You may be exposed to standard clinical risks, such as infectious agents or chemical odors.
