Director Controlling . The Director Controlling oversees the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) for their assigned Regional Operating Company (ROC). The Director Controlling plays a crucial role by performing budgeting, forecasting and analysis that support growth, profitability, and major decisions of the ROC. They will also ensure transparency of business performance, identify deviations from plan and business risks, proactively generate counter measures & track implementation. This role serves as a strategic partner to the ROC President and Leadership Team. YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership of the department and/or team members. Manage the FP&A and budgeting for the ROC. Ensure the ROC effectively abides by all IFRS and Brenntag Governance protocols. Manage the business performance reports to ensure the ROC Leadership is provided excellent business metrics, assessment of any relevant financial trends and insights in market conditions. Complete M&A financial assessments to support investment decisions. Monitor commercial performance & provide action-oriented reports. Monitor operations performance of sites in the ROC and provide detailed reports as well as potential corrective action ideas. Identify and analyze risks as well as plan deviations and facilitate counter measure generation and tracking of actions. Partner across the business to bring visibility, accountability & support to the team, speeding communication throughout the organization and establishing a culture & operating cadence that accelerates growth. YOUR PROFILE

Additional Required Skills and Abilities Excellent team building, communication, and organizational skills. Superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Ability to convey very complex matters in a concise, easy to understand manner. Very strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Ability to travel up to 20%. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Mathematics is required. Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or MBA is strongly preferred. Five or more years’ experience managing an FP&A team, preferably in a publicly traded company. Preference will be given to candidates from a multinational, manufacturing or distribution company. At least 10 years’ experience working in an FP&A organization or Accounting Team. INTERESTED?
