Prepare and review complex individual tax returns. Research and interpret tax laws; draft correspondence to tax authorities. Provide tax consulting and respond to client inquiries. Build and maintain strong client relationships. Supervise and mentor staff and interns; assist in performance evaluations. Manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines. Utilize advanced software tools (Excel, Word, tax software) and train others. Stay current with tax regulations and enhance technical knowledge. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Tax; CPA/EA preferred. 2+ years of individual tax experience, ideally in public accounting. Strong proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese. Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities. Salary & Benefits
USD $73,000 - $90,000 DOE and discretionary bonus Other
Work location: Torrance, CA or possibly remote Country: US Seniority level
