Department Head | Executive Financial Leadership A globally recognized, innovation-driven manufacturing organization is building out a new Corporate Controlling function at the group level. With operations across North America, Europe, and Asia, they are experiencing rapid growth and are seeking a hands-on, strategic finance executive to stand up and lead this new department. This is a high-impact role where you’ll architect global accounting and controlling operations from the ground up. You’ll partner directly with C-level leaders to standardize processes, drive compliance, and implement best-in-class financial governance across the enterprise. Key Responsibilities: Launch and scale a new global corporate controlling department, serving as the financial connective tissue across business units worldwide. Lead initiatives related to IFRS/US GAAP reporting, budgeting, multi-entity consolidation, and strategic financial planning. Build and enforce group-wide accounting policies, process documentation, and internal controls. Oversee ERP system configuration and ongoing improvement (Epicor platform experience preferred). Manage financial and compliance readiness for new entity launches, including legal registrations, tax setup, and insurance. Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, providing data-backed financial insights to support strategic initiatives. Establish training materials and a company-wide accounting handbook to ensure global consistency. Support global tax compliance and partner with local finance teams across multiple jurisdictions. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CFA, or MBA strongly preferred). 15+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a multinational or manufacturing environment. Deep expertise in both Controlling and Accounting functions, including hands-on consolidation and forecasting. Solid command of both US GAAP and IFRS. Proven experience with ERP systems (Epicor or similar platforms highly preferred). Strong knowledge of global tax and compliance landscapes, particularly across US, Mexico, Europe, and Asia. Demonstrated success operating in cross-cultural, multi-country financial environments. Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach.
