Trip Reservation Specialist

to manage trip reservations for eligible passengers. This role requires collecting key data to ensure efficient scheduling of trips. Key Responsibilities: Handle passenger calls to gather essential trip information within the permissible booking time. Provide detailed information to both current and prospective passengers on how to effectively access and utilize transportation services. Enter data accurately for passenger records and specific trip requests, adapting requested times when necessary. Follow up with passengers regarding schedule changes or follow-up inquiries to provide excellent customer service. Communicate cancellations promptly to scheduling, dispatch, or vehicle operations teams. Keep passenger records current in the customer database, including status changes and important updates. Ensure a safe working environment, emphasizing safety to prevent injuries. Maintain organized records and filing systems. Communicate effectively with operations staff about scheduling or passenger-related issues. Ability to multitask accurately in a busy environment. Deliver outstanding customer service with professionalism and a positive demeanor. Punctual and reliable with reliable attendance. Actively support colleagues, management, and peers in a team-oriented atmosphere. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent is required. Able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Experience in paratransit scheduling using Ecolane is preferred. Strong decision-making capabilities. Excellent attendance history. Clear verbal and written communication skills. Prior experience in telephone customer service or call center roles. Proficient in basic computer tasks.
