Trip Reservation Specialist

who will play a crucial role in assisting eligible passengers by managing trip reservations and ensuring a smooth scheduling process. New Pay Rate: $18.00 Per Hour Key Responsibilities: Assist passengers by accurately gathering essential trip information during phone calls. Provide guidance on our transportation services to both existing and potential passengers, ensuring they understand how to utilize our system effectively. Input passenger data and trip requests into our system, adeptly negotiating trip times when necessary. Perform follow-up calls to passengers as needed, especially regarding any changes to their scheduled trips. Promptly communicate cancellations to relevant scheduling and dispatch teams. Keep thorough and up-to-date passenger records within our database, ensuring all information is accurate. Uphold a safe and organized working environment to promote employee safety. Maintain accurate filing and record-keeping systems. Collaborate effectively with operations staff to resolve scheduling or passenger-related concerns. Demonstrate strong multitasking abilities, managing multiple duties with precision. Deliver exceptional customer service, showcasing a professional demeanor at all times. Be reliable regarding attendance and punctuality. Work collaboratively as a team player, always ready to assist colleagues and management. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Experience with paratransit scheduling, especially utilizing Trapeze PASS, is preferred. Strong decision-making capabilities. Proven excellent attendance record. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Experience with telephone communication and call center operations. Competency in using computer systems.
