Principal System Administrator Security requirement:

Provide Linux System Administration support for the program and meet the System Administrator III LCAT requirements; the ideal candidate has experience in Linux (Red Hat), Saison, and Ansible. Proficient in the installation, operation and troubleshooting of Data Communications Equipment, 3270 devices and circuits, including network hardware and software. Maintain the continuity of point-to-point analog and digital networks, tie line circuits, point-to-point protocol slips, routers, utilizing TCP/IP and network management skills in Multi-Platform Unix/Windows Server environments, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 5.4), CentOS 7/8, VMware vCenter Server and vSphere Client, Sun Solaris 9/10, Dragon Intrusion Detection, Oracle 10 RDBMS. Utilize performance and tuning skills to enhance system fault management; assist the user community with data and telecommunications problems to maintain network integrity; utilize remote system management; troubleshoot and resolve related problems. IAT Level II baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M is required. Fifteen (15) years of experience providing System Administration support and a Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline are required. See Appendix B for degree substitutions. Compensation & Benefits

The proposed salary range for this position in Maryland is $160,000 to $205,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
