The Director of Venue Operations will provide support and assistance to the General Manager. This role will work closely with division leadership, local municipalities and will have a close tie to all salaried and hourly employees at the venue. What This Role Will Do
Responsible for supporting and managing day to day facility operations, including but not limited to, front of house operations, back of house operations, sales support, facilities maintenance support, and staffing. Supports recruiting efforts and steps in to interview and train in all departments as needed. Assists General Manager with daily oversight of expense budget. Assists General Manager with all company initiatives and adherence to programs including all F&B related business, menu adherence, F&B inventory cost and labor controls Assists General Manager with all show related forecasting and cost controls Develops and helps execute programming to drive top line revenue across all areas of the venue. Works in coordination with the General Manager and venue Human Resources to monitor incident reports, incident investigations and pending cases, including interviewing staff. In conjunction with all management and other personnel works to provide a safe and enjoyable facility for guests and employees including all service training. Ensure optimum operating condition of all venue equipment, such as kitchen equipment, production equipment, POS terminals, health & safety needs. Investigate and resolve guest related complaints. Implementation and execution of all Live Nation policies, procedures, and programs. Oversee all health & safety related needs. City health department inspections, Ecolab Ecosure inspections, State Liquor Control adherence, local permit adherence. Development municipality relationships including police, fire, rescue, Homeland Security Respond to patron complaints as necessary Assist General Manager and facilities team to manage long term preventive maintenance programs, capital expenditure programs, and other asset protection and improvement programs Coordinate and actively communicate to the neighboring businesses and residents as needed. Other duties as may be assigned. Required
What This Person Will Bring
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or comparable work experience Minimum 5 years experience as a manager in a hospitality, Food & Beverage related business Flexible Schedule (days/nights, weekends, and holidays) Ability and flexibility to travel when needed Tolerance of all cultures, music and art forms Preferred
Previous experience working with local municipalities, such as police, fire, etc. Previous experience supervising and managing large volumes of part time, event based employees Experience in a live music environment Benefits & Perks
