Our client, a leading Global manufacturer serving the food and beverage sector, is seeking a
Vice President of Operations
to oversee and drive performance across its U.S. manufacturing footprint. This senior executive will play a pivotal role in shaping operational strategy, ensuring excellence in safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement across multiple plants. Reporting directly to the President, the Vice President of Operations will lead a team of senior operational leaders responsible for manufacturing, quality, engineering, materials, and environmental affairs. With accountability for a large workforce and a significant operating budget, this role will drive operational transformation, capital investment, and long-term growth initiatives. $30m Drive a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Oversee operational budgets, capital expenditures, and production planning. Develop and execute strategies that align operations with corporate objectives, including sustainability and innovation. Optimize processes and technologies to maximize efficiency and asset utilization. Lead senior operations, quality, and engineering leaders in achieving performance goals. Partner with executive leadership to support overall business growth and long-term strategy. Candidate Profile Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred). 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in large-scale manufacturing operations, ideally in the food, beverage, or consumer packaging industries. Demonstrated success in managing multi-site operations with a large employee base. Strong financial acumen with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning. Proven ability to drive operational excellence, cost optimization, and continuous improvement. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams. Experience managing union environments and complex supply chains is advantageous.
