Overview

The Hilton Atlanta and Towers is looking for their next Assistant Director of Front Office. Located in the heart of Downtown Atlanta, this hotel is one mile from renowned attractions and premier venues. The property features 1249 modern guestrooms with 51 meeting rooms and 2 ballrooms for a total of 131,730 square feet. This role reports to the Director of Front Office and will oversee a total of 8 team members per shift including Assistant Front Office Managers, Supervisors and Guest Service Agents. Ideal candidates will have previous hotel front desk management experience, work well under pressure and in a team setting, excel in leading a team, handle guest inquiries with professionalism and warmth, and ensure seamless check-in and check-out experiences. Experience with Hilton and OnQ is required. Flexibility with availability is required. Shift Pattern: Full open availability (Holidays and Weekends required). Responsibilities

Assist in the direction and administration of all Front Office operations including guest service and registration (check-in/check-out), room inventory and availability, marketing initiatives, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement, and participation in meetings. Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance including supervision and professional development, scheduling, counseling and evaluations, and recognition and reward. Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends; evaluate issues and implement improvements. Oversee the VIP process, including reviewing VIP reservations, amenity orders, updating arrivals in the system, managing special requests, and overseeing rate changes for in-house guests. Initiate and implement upselling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities to maximize occupancy and revenue. Ensure team members have current knowledge of products, services, pricing, policies, and local area events. Run and complete daily reports, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions. Resolve guest issues and concerns to achieve guest satisfaction. Recruit, interview and train team members. What we are looking for
