Title : Associate Director of Engagement, Leadership, and Service Department : VPSA-Engagement Leadership & Service Advertised Salary : $70,000 Proposed Starting Date : 10/01/2025 Hours : Monday–Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm; some nights and weekends Location : Athens Area Responsibilities

Serve in the absence of the Director and supervise two ELS units (Leadership and Student Engagement), including coordination of student leadership development, the annual Student Leadership Conference, Leadership UGA, student organization registration and development, training, policy compliance, Engagement Fairs, and the Student Engagement Awards. Promote and participate in the development, retention, and engagement of designated staff; provide secondary supervisory support for direct reports. Oversee financial compliance for student activity fee funds (> $120,000) and provide secondary support for departmental private funds. Serve on the University’s Freedom of Expression Team. Advise the Graduate Student Association and the Student Government Association, including oversight of expenditures, donor stewardship, and campus collaboration; support related committees and initiatives. Facilitate annual assessment practices, alignment with university/division competencies, and measurement of key performance indicators. Support fundraising and donor stewardship efforts to increase student access to opportunities. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications : Requires at least a bachelor’s degree in the field. Please contact Human Resources for evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the minimum qualifications. Preferred Qualifications : Master’s degree in higher education, student affairs, or a related field and a minimum of five years of progressive experience managing a dynamic portfolio of programs and services. Experience in supervising, budgeting, event management, assessment, advising student governance organizations, and leading collaborative efforts is preferred.
