Overview
Linesight is seeking an experienced
Senior MEP Procurement Manager
to join our dynamic team supporting the procurement of mechanical and electrical trades for large-scale data center construction projects across North America. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring consistency and efficiency in the procurement process, working closely with Linesight and the client’s procurement teams, as well as client stakeholders, GCs and subcontractors.
The Opportunity In this role you will:
MEP Trade Guidance: Oversee and guide GCs in sourcing mechanical and electrical trades, ensuring due diligence, benchmarking, and best practices
Process Improvement: Standardize procurement processes, templates, and documentation across the client’s portfolio
Commercial & Risk Analysis: Conduct bid evaluations, analyze pricing, and develop negotiation strategies while proactively identifying and mitigating risks such as labor shortages and cost overruns
Market Intelligence: Monitor market conditions, supplier capacity, and labor availability to inform decision-making
Supplier & Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships with GCs, subcontractors, suppliers, and client stakeholders to foster alignment and successful project delivery
Reporting & Transparency: Prepare and present clear procurement reports, ensuring accountability and visibility across all activities

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Experience: 7+ years in procurement, ideally within large-scale construction or data center projects, with proven expertise in MEP trade procurement.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, contract negotiation, supplier management, and bid/commercial analysis; familiarity with US construction standards, subcontractor pricing, labor markets, and union/traveling labor dynamics; QS skills a plus.
Analytical & Market Insight: Ability to assess market conditions, labor availability, and resource constraints to make data-driven decisions and mitigate risks
Collaboration & Leadership: Skilled communicator with experience influencing diverse stakeholders, leading meetings, and building strong supplier and contractor relationships
Adaptability: Highly organized, resourceful, and capable of managing multiple priorities in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
Preferred: Experience in data center construction or other mission-critical, large-scale infrastructure projects
All interviews are conducted either in person or virtually with video required.
The salary range for this role is between $126,000 and $164,000 but actual salary offered is dependent on experience, skill set and education.
